Since 1923, Joseph J. Duffy Company has been a trusted name in construction throughout Chicagoland and the Midwest. One of the buildings, we’ve established is the Bernardin Manor, an independent living facility for elderly adults in Calumet City, Illinois.

Built in 2000, this classic prairie style deign is three stories with 181 one bedroom units, including a commercial kitchen for senior dining for families and visitors and community room areas for senior activities.

As a result of major value engineering, Bernadin Manor has won awards for design and construction, and boasts a cathedral ceiling in the common areas. Bernardin Manor is a five acre site development, including a large water retention area landscaped ground.
